Built as a statement piece without compromising its purpose as a precision slicing knife. This 340mm Sakimaru Sujihiki combines an imposing profile with a thin, highly refined geometry designed for long, clean cuts through proteins.

The blade is forged from in-house made Damascus, combining layers of 15N20 and O2 around a high-performance ApexUltra core hardened to 64 HRC. The polished bevel reveals the flowing Damascus construction beneath the darker forged surface, giving each side of the blade a distinctive character.

A full hollow grind reduces resistance through the cut while allowing the substantial 4.6mm spine to taper aggressively towards the tip — reaching just 0.7mm approximately 10mm behind the point.

The handle is built from mammoth tusk and African Blackwood, separated by sterling silver spacers. The contrast between the natural pattern of the mammoth tusk, deep black timber and polished silver gives the knife a restrained, luxurious finish worthy of its proportions.

At 520mm overall, this is a substantial piece of craftsmanship — forged, ground and finished to combine performance with materials that make it truly one of a kind.
