How drops work
Every MK-Knives knife is forged and finished by me, Martin Kaanbjerg, in my workshop on Funen, Denmark. Because each knife takes time and no two are the same, most of them are released in small drops a few times a year. Here is how a drop works.
1. Join the list
Subscribers hear about every drop first. Sign up here or use the countdown on the front page. About a week before, you get the date and time.
2. See the lineup in advance
Two days before the drop, subscribers receive the full lineup with photos, measurements, steel, grind, handle materials and prices, so you can choose calmly before the clock starts. Questions about a specific knife? Reply to that email before the drop – I can't answer during the drop itself.
3. The drop opens
At the announced time (always given in Danish time), the knives go live on the drop page and subscribers get the link by email. Each knife is one of a kind, and it is first come, first served: a knife in your cart is not reserved until it is paid, so have your payment ready.
What is included
Every kitchen knife comes with a handmade leather sheath. Tourné and utility knives are the exception, as they are too small. Each knife is sharpened, checked and packed by hand before it leaves the workshop.
Shipping
- Denmark: GLS – 49 DKK
- EU: PostNord – 299 DKK
- USA, UK, Switzerland, Norway and the rest of the world: UPS – 299 DKK
All shipments are tracked. Prices are shown in your own currency at checkout.
Import duties
Orders within the EU have no import duties. For orders outside the EU, import duties, tariffs and local taxes may apply and are collected by the carrier on delivery. These are set by your country, not by MK-Knives, so check your local rules before ordering.
