This 150 mm Bunka combines a compact, distinctive profile with refined craftsmanship, offering excellent precision and versatility for everyday kitchen tasks.
The blade is forged from in-house made Damascus, combining layers of 15N20 and O2 around an Apex Ultra core hardened to approximately 65 HRC. The intricate Damascus pattern highlights the layered construction, creating a striking contrast between craftsmanship and performance.
A hollow grind provides thin, efficient cutting geometry, reducing resistance through the cut. With a generous 55 mm heel height and a weight of 167 grams, the knife offers excellent control and knuckle clearance despite its compact blade length.
The handle combines beautifully figured stabilized walnut burl, African Blackwood, and a subtle G10 spacer. The rich, swirling grain of the walnut creates a warm, natural contrast against the darker materials, giving the knife an elegant and distinctive finish.
